Job Brief
To support the Sales Manager to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important client and responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements.
Responsible to launch, manage and develop Broadband services. Develop packages with suitable data bundles for consumer market which will enable the company to become the preferred supplier of fixed consumer services. Identify and implement a range of data related CPE's/Devices to best support the product portfolio. Liaising with the IT and Network departments to secure a successful implementation of the agreed product roadmap.
Job Responsibilities
a) Responsible for Residential & Business Broadband project;
- New registration & inquiries (liaise directly with customers)
- Installation appointment (work closely with Project and Procurement Dept),
- Invoicing matters (work closely with Finance Dept.)
- Services related (work closely with Network Dept.)
b) To support Sales team, develop and implement sales strategy markets and achieve sales revenue goals based on market segmentation.
c) To execute sales strategy towards potential account which requires cultivating relationships and identifying opportunities.
d) To support Sales Manager to screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deals requirement and evaluating options.
e) To develop, launch and manage home broadband services (Internet connectivity) to meet or exceed targets as per the business case.
f) To analyze market and competitive insight as a basis for the positioning and design of a highly competitive product portfolio.
g) To work with the technical teams to generate design documents and processes, co-ordinate implementation of products between network and IT, customer service and suppliers to ensure a launch on time, in budget and to specifications.
h) To screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deals requirement and evaluating options.
i) To coordinate customer requirements internally & externally.
j) Ensures operations comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
k) Maintains great relations with vendors, contractors, subscribers, customers, and the general public in carrying out the responsibilities of this position. Work with consultants as required ensuring the success of the FTTH deployment and ongoing operations.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
- Diploma holder in Telecommunications Engineering, IT, or equivalent, with at least 2 years working experience.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in the relevant field is required for this position independence, problem solver and proactive in initiating new suggestions
- Computer literate - conversant in the use of relevant work tools (e.g. MS Office).
- Good Bahasa Malaysia and English language skill is mandatory.

- An outgoing personality and able to engage conversation with customer up to C-level.
- Must possess and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of business principles and practices required to manage a fiber to the premises business; including but not limited to sales, operations, project management, customer service, communications and process development.
- Must be knowledgeable about budgeting, general accounting and fiscal management practices; office procedures; and business operating systems.
VC TELECOMS SDN BHD was incorporated in 2008.
