This role will report to the Regional BMS Manager and see you examine and evaluate the STEP/ Business Management System/BMS (our integrated quality management system) implementation in projects and offices across the region. This is an unique and important role that is independent of the country specific operations and supports our region with conducting objective audits, achieving quality, excellence and compliance with the STEP framework.- The role will promise lots of opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in auditing, project management quality management systems including developing your relationships and network across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Some of the activities include, but not all:
- Carrying out all compliance and quality audits as per the regional audit plan
- Ensure auditees are informed and supported to close audit findings within the expected timeframes
- Documenting clear and concise audit reports and findings in the audit platform and publish them to the auditees in a timely manner
- Assist in creating and delivering a region-wide training program based on audit trends
- Communicating effectively with our teams to be able to engage them in continuous learning and improvement initiatives
- Promote a positive STEP/BMS culture and continual improvement of BMS
- Collaborate with the Unit BMS Leads, and advise on improvement areas based on the audit trends and findings
- Attend monthly meetings/discussions with the greater region management systems team to understand updates, changes, trends etc.
- Attend monthly Region Metronome calls.
**What you can bring to the team**:
- You are detail-oriented and should have project management experience including a passion for quality and continuous process improvement have a good understanding of ISO certifications.
- You have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English language. You are passionate about helping staff identify areas for improvement. With your knowledge and experience, you have the confidence to put forward your recommendations in a respectful and friendly manner.
- You have the analytical skills to derive trends from audits and deliver training sessions to continually improve quality and compliance.
- You have a learning mindset and are open to evolving systems and processes.
- Internal or lead auditor certification is desirable but not a pre-requisite. In the absence of internal auditor/lead auditor certification, you will be required to complete the course successfully.
- You will need to familiarise and hone your knowledge of Mott MacDonald Business Management System requirements.
