Quality Manager

Assist Head of Operation in managing all the production product are produced on time and ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability as well as responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control, calibration, customer complaint resolution, and after-sales service support.
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections, various tests at different stages of production. This may include X-rays, ultrasonic testing, pressure testing, leak testing, and more, depending on the product type and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Manage and investigate customer complaints, working closely with the customer service team to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Provide after-sales service support, including technical assistance and troubleshooting, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and performance, and develop reports to track progress and identify trends.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inspections tests, and quality control activities. This documentation is essential for trace ability and auditing.
- Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving activities and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in quality management, and recommend changes or enhancements to processes as needed.
- Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment.
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
- Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
- Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
- Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
- Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
- Oversee MPSI quality control/ assurance activities
- Prepare repair quotations, spare part sales activities in response to customer inquiries, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
- Plan and initiate outsource process activities
- Plan and initiate 3rd party inspection activities (JKKP, Dosh, etc)
- Plan and execute 3rd party tools/ equipment calibration activities
- Coordinate calibration activities for equipment and machinery to maintain accuracy and reliability
- Change request assessment and evaluation
- Any task assigned by management
**Job Requirement**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing engineering, quality management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 Years work experience in quality management related manufacturing/automotive field, preferably in the commercial trailer and tanker manufacturing industry
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions
- Good English skills both in oral and writing, good computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and external customers
- Possess leadership qualities and able to interact with people at all levels
- Familiarity with customer complaint management systems and processes
- Experience with calibration processes and equipment maintenance
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and a team player
- Good knowledge in QA/QC will be an added advantage.
