Ensures all guest requests and complaints are handled appropriately adhering to the hotel’s general guidelines for service recovery.
- Ensures all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards.
- Follows up on work and maintains logbook.
- Maintains proper par stock of inventory items.
- Knows and controls all chemicals.
- Closely monitors laundry cost per load or kg/cost per cover of room/person.
- Knows and controls all machinery.
- Knows and follows Linen/Uniforms cleaning procedures.
- Ensures policies & procedures are implemented regarding guest laundry charges and delivery.
- Ensures an adequate supply of detergent and other materials required for laundry purposes including stain removers, etc. by preparing requisitions for supplies.
- Ensures efficient provision of dry cleaning and laundry services by overseeing the whole process and controlling quality of services provided.
- Reports monthly on revenue and expenses for laundry and dry cleaning.
- Coordinates machinery preventive maintenance program, reports and follows up on maintenance requests.
- Ensures small repair and mending jobs are done automatically.
- Processes charges for guest Laundry & Dry Cleaning and coordinates valet
- Accurately measuring customers using tape measures to ensure proper fit of garments.
- Ensuring that sewing machines and other equipment are in good working order.
- Altering or repairing customers' garments and other articles, which includes hemming, mending, lengthening, as well as taking in and letting out seams.
- Fitting garments on customers to determine how the alterations should be done.
- Constructing garments and other articles according to customers’ specifications and preferences.
- Labelling customers' garments and articles and recording the alterations required.
- Communicating with customers to determine their specifications, needs, and preferences.
- Using irons and pressing machines to erase the creases on garments and other articles.

**Salary**: RM2,400.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
