Operations Manager is responsible for the operation, managing overall performance of Humaira. Operations Manager will be directly involved in the day to day running of Humaira and to implement all standardized procedures, rules, and regulations systematically to be in line with hotel standards and policies. Interacts with guests and individuals within and outside of the property, including potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers, competitors, and other members of the local community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the highest levels of performance from all facets of property operations.
- Ensure ‘best in class’ levels of guest services by overseeing and directing the efficient running of all guest-related services and products.
- Establish and maintain effective internal communications including daily, weekly, and monthly meetings as required.
- Conduct weekly inspections to ensure the physical upkeep and appearance of the property through implementation and managing of preventative maintenance programs.
- Coordinate and support human resource component functions including orientation, coaching, training, labour relations and performance appraisal for staff under his/her direction.
- Identify future potential department heads for succession planning through participation in the development of all employees and implementation of training plans.
- Establish and maintain a high level of management representation and visibility through involvement of the property with business, social and government communities.
- Spearhead the design and implementation of guest programs and budgets to ensure an optimum level of sales materialization, delivery of service and customer retention.
- Contribute in the development of sales & marketing programs and campaigns to achieve market awareness and patronage.
- Ensure that all safety and security procedures are in place and enforced in keeping with prevailing laws.
- Monitors applicable laws and regulations to ensure full compliance by all facets of property operations.
- Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
- Assist in monitoring and keeping up to date with present and future trends, practices, and systems in the hospitality industry.
- Monitor procurement practices to ensure compliance with company’s quality standards and financial SOPs.
- Keeps the Hotel Manager updated and informed of any unforeseen events which may occur in a timely manner.
- Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Solid background in hotel management, service apartment management or customer service industry.
- If from the hospitality industry, the background experience should be more in rooms division.
- Pre-opening experience in a hotel or a serviced apartment operation is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years’ in 4- or 5-star rated international properties and of the similar level.
- Ability to forecast occupancy rate, Average Room Rates and seasonal market segmentation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
