Junior Executive, Purchasing

Provide support in the Procurement Department on materials ordering and purchasing including raising order based on current inventory needs, maintaining and updating procurement records. Assist in searching new vendors, tracking deliveries, customs clearance, maintain relationships with Suppliers, Vendors or Wholesalers, etc.
**Responsibilities**:
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
- To handle logistic arrangement and update manager on status
- To handle issues of complaints, rejection and maintain good relationships with vendors / suppliers
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing and other important data
- Review and analyze all vendors / suppliers, supply, price options and look for alternative sources for products.
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
- Ensure that the products and supplies are of high quality
- Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and update on potential future development.
- Work with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed and attend to urgent orders requests.
- To perform other duties as and when assigned by designated Superior.

**Requirements**:
- Required skill(s): Microsoft Word & Excel.
- 1- 2 years of working experience in the related field is an added advantage.
- Proficient in oral and written skills.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Can speak in Mandarin is add advantange.
- Highly responsible and committed.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Initiative, able to work in a team, willing to learn and work independently.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with SAP systems is an added advantage.
- Prefer food manufacturing work experience is add advantage
