**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Job Summary:
Assist in the day-to-day accounting tasks, support the preparation of financial reports, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

1. Key Responsibilities:

- Data Entry & Record Keeping:

- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including preparing and processing invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Ensure that all accounting entries are properly documented and filed.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

- Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments from clients and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Assist in the preparation of payment vouchers, issuance of cheques, and bank transfers.

3. Bank Reconciliation:

- Assist in performing monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are addressed promptly.

4. Financial Reporting:

- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other accounting documents.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.

5. General Ledger Management:

- Assist in the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions to the appropriate accounts.

6. Administrative Support:

- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and responding to accounting-related inquiries.
- Assist in preparing financial documents for management review.

7. Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with company policies and local accounting regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory reports and tax filings.

Requirements & Qualifications:
1. Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

3. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

5. Experience with SQL Account is an advantage

6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

7. Good organizational and time management skills.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
