Business Development Executive

Conducts trade area identification and site selection for new business and existing businesses
- Negotiates tenancy terms for new sites and existing stores
- Prepares market development/activities that can benefit owned and franchise-own businesses
- Scouts and identifies sites in the most strategic locations.
- Focus on franchise brand compliance, franchise revenue generation, and process development and implementation.
- Expertise in the trade of fitting out restaurants with fixtures, fittings, and equipment. The process begins with a survey of the shop premises and kitchen and measurement of available space.
- Responsible for Return of Investment (ROI) proposal to meet Company expectations, and to adhere to Franchisee agreement.
- To handle all aspects of the expansion of new outlets and leasing.
- Plan, identify, source, and secure a good location. Initiate discussion with a potential landlord, negotiate the lease and finalize rental and other terms and conditions. Follow-up through execution to the opening of the store.
- Liaise closely with inter departments on matters pertaining to Fit-out, Facilities Maintenance & Operations
**_Requirement_**:
- Required skill(s): site acquisition, Strategic Business Development Planning.
- Must be knowledgeable in Real Estate, Business Relations, and Negotiations.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- F&B industry knowledge and familiarity with different strategies used by industry players and competitors is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills to interact and maintain good relationships with all levels of people
- Proactive, creative problem-solver with a strong business mindset
- Knowledge of Leasing standard operating procedure, market conditions, and consumer behavior.
- Preferably executives specializing in Mall Leasing / real estate or equivalent.
