Accountant

1. Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, procurement, or investment activities of all or part of an organization. Coordinates the timely preparation of all monthly company standard reports.
2. Assist the Financial Controller in developing internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting in accordance with company policies and procedures.
3. Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies.
4. Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations in order to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
5. Assist the Financial Controller to supply all data related to annual budgeting duties.
6. Coordinates the implementation of any internal or external audit recommendations.
7. To maintain close communication with the public auditors and to communicate instructions for the preparation of internal and external audits, preparing all necessary data and documents, in conjunction with the Financial Controller.
8. To maintain a working knowledge of the accounting regulations of the region where the hotel is located.
Required:
Good technical knowledge of Malaysian and International Financial Reporting Standards. Knowledge of Material Control, Sunsystem, Oracle and office software. Good technical knowledge on tax laws, rulings and case laws.
1 year in the same position in hotels of similar category and services.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
