**Key Responsibilities**:

- Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop, monitor, and refine financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Analyze financial data, trends, and performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, variance explanations, and forecasts.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic financial targets.
- Prepare regular forecasts to identify potential financial gaps and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Financial Operations:

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Oversee cash flow management, optimizing working capital and liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Monitor and manage credit and collections to minimize outstanding debts.
- Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and support audit processes.
- Team Leadership:

- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and development.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and promote cross-functional communication.
- Risk Management:

- Identify potential financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- **Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Proven experience of at least 7 years in financial management
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and utilizing financial software/tools.
- In-depth understanding of local financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

**Salary**: RM3,569.34 - RM10,028.51 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuching: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- People Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Finance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:
