**Position Overview**

The Energy Efficiency Junior Technician plays a crucial role in supporting and implementing energy-saving measures within Green Xperts and its clients. The junior technician's primary responsibility is to assess energy consumption, identify areas of improvement, and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce energy usage and environmental impact. This position involves a combination of technical skills, problem-solving, and data analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**

I. Energy Audits and Assessments:
a. Conduct energy audits and assessments of buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify energy inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

b. Analyze energy consumption patterns, utility bills, and equipment performance data to determine potential energy-saving measures.

II. Energy Efficiency Solutions:
a. Develop and propose energy-efficient solutions and strategies to reduce energy consumption and optimize energy use.

b. Recommend and implement energy-efficient technologies, equipment upgrades, and retrofits to improve overall energy performance.

III. Data Collection and Analysis:
a. Gather data on energy usage, equipment operation, and building performance to establish baselines and track energy savings.

b. Utilize energy monitoring and management systems to monitor energy consumption and identify trends.

IV. Project Implementation:
a. Oversee and coordinate the implementation of energy-saving projects, including working with contractors and vendors to ensure proper installation and commissioning.

b. Perform quality assurance checks to verify the effectiveness of energy efficiency measures.

V. Energy Education and Training:
a. Educate employees and stakeholders on energy-efficient practices and behaviors to foster a culture of energy conservation.

b. Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness and promote energy-saving initiatives.

VI. Compliance and Reporting:
a. Stay updated on relevant energy efficiency regulations, standards, and incentives.

b. Prepare reports and documentation on energy-saving initiatives, progress, and achieved savings for internal and external stakeholders.

VII. Continuous Improvement:
a. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented energy efficiency measures, seeking opportunities for further optimization.

b. Research and stay informed about emerging energy-efficient technologies and best practices.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
I. Diploma or equivalent, additional technical training or certification in energy efficiency or electrical engineering is a plus.

II. Basic understanding of electrical systems and components, including wiring. circuitry, and electrical safety practices.

III. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to handle power tools and equipment safely.

IV. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

V. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from senior technicians or project managers.

VI. Physical stamina and the ability to work in outdoor environments, sometimes at heights or in challenging weather conditions.

VII. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear updates on work progress.

VIII. Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations.

IX. Passion for energy efficiency and a desire to contribute to sustainable practices.

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
