Functional
_(job responsibilities)_
Insurance Functions:
- Monitor and follow up on master fire policy from Management Company for new renewal cases;
- Check insurance reports to ensure insurance polices are taken up/renew on timely basis;
- Prepare vouchers for manual posting, for cases where the auto debiting is rejected;
- Follow up with customer for self-arrange insurance;
- Notify insurance company on cancellation cases;
- Check MRYTA aging report. Check excel listing and take appropriate action for outstanding MRTA cases i.e. cancel MRTA limit. Reinstate MRTA limit upon borrower’s request;
- Update MRTA/ MRTT details in SAS400 upon receipt of listing from the insurer/ Takaful Operator
- Attending to fire and life insurance claims matters, self insured/ insurance deviation request;
Security Functions:
- Check and ensure proper safekeeping of facility security documents;
- Ensure accurate and timely update of document status in AS400 upon receipt of security documents;
- Retrieval and/or lodgment of security documents;
- Follow up on outstanding/ reconstructions security documents with solicitors;
- Check original security documents received from solicitors to ensure Bank as charge is properly registered;
- Security verification on documents in the security envelopes on a periodic basis;
- Instruct solicitors to prepare charge documents for perfection of charge;
- Vet POC documents for PA’s execution;
- Attend to borrower’s request for photocopy of security documents;
- Attend to request for letter of consent, letter of no objection, FDR upliftment and audit confirmation;
- Custodian of security envelopes;
Redemption & Discharge Functions:
- Attend SRF from solicitors for issuance of EPF/Redemption Statement;
- Check letters from solicitor/ SRF from customer for proper authorization on redemption / payoff facility accounts;
- Perform system maintenance on notice dates, MG penalty maintenance & loan payoff inquiry;
- Ensure availability of relevant security documents during issuance of Redemption Statement;
- Prepare and print the Redemption Statement;
- Prepare and submit request to CED for approval for partial redemption;
- Handle Discharge of charge, including system maintenance, e.g. zeroized account, cancel OD limit, cancel AFT, DMCC;
- Check discharge documents for PA execution;
- Follow up with the solicitor on the rectification of the discharge documents;
- Issue vouchers for refund of excess amount, if any, after paid off;
- Issue compliance of TAT for Redemption/ Discharge cases;
- Prepare cover letter to the solicitor on the collection of redemption statement/ discharge documents;
- Unclaimed monies report-monitoring transfer to GL/Issue confirmation letter to Jabatan Akauntan Negra;
- Reconciliation of Redemption Collection A/C on monthly basis
- Check relevant monthly and quarterly reports) e.g. negative balance & account closed listing report) and perform system maintenance (if any) and issue relevant letters to customers
Education & Experience
- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in Credit Administration field.
