**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Welding Operations**:

- Perform welding tasks using various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding.
- Set up welding equipment and select the appropriate tools and materials for the job.

**2. Fabrication**:

- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the required welding process.
- Measure, cut, and join metal components accurately.

**3. Inspection and Quality Control**:

- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to maintain high standards.

**4. Maintenance and Safety**:

- Maintain welding equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety standards and practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

**5. Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers regarding progress and any issues.

**Job Requirements**:
**1. Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certified welding program or apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or construction setting.

**2. Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions (standing, bending, kneeling).
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a welding environment.

**3. Certifications**:

- Welding certification from a recognized institution

**4. Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Good vision (corrective lenses permitted) and manual dexterity.

**5. Additional Requirements**:

- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and shift work as needed.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
