Merchandising Executive

**Drive Sales & Profitability**
- Generate, track, review performance and recommend adjustments to achieve sales, margin, and turnover goals.
- Measure effectiveness and lesson learned on sale metrics.
- Lead to ensure the products launch in stores/sale channels according to schedule.
- Assist with ad-hocs in all aspect of the team’s need and not limited to marketing, retail, operation and etc.
**Merchandising & Planning**
- Develop product plans, stock plans and strategies at collection, categories, sku level.
- Stock level planning to achieve annual and monthly sales forecast.
- Plan, select and purchase of products based on STR, OTB, strategic plans, customer’s and brand’s requirements.
- Monitor and analyse product performance through reports, recommendations and executions on retail price, stock movement, reorders, promotion or markdowns.
- Create trackers and track performances of inventory, stock movements, markdown and etc.
- Conduct market research and keep abreast of current trends to ensure products are current and serve the market.
- Gather information from retail personnel on customer’s reaction towards new products after each launch and compare results with previous launches.
- Ensure team and retail staff are well informed on product details, knowledge and promotions, tracking and identifying any losses or stock wastage.
**Designing & Development**
- Research, propose and set creative direction for products and packaging development including mood boards, sketches and technical drawings.
- Liaise with internal & external stakeholders on product sampling, testing, quality checks and comments.
- Assist with ad-hoc designs for instore promotional banners, cards and etc.
**Supplier’s Management**
- Build, manage and strengthen relationships with suppliers and agents, while abiding by company’s policies and guidelines.
- Hunt for new suppliers and agents to work with.
- Negotiate with new and existing quality suppliers to achieve best quality, pricing, profit margin and trading terms.
- Ensure timely delivery by monitoring shipment and delivery schedule
- To follow up with PO, invoice, payment with internal and external stakeholders.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
**Education**:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Merchandising: 2 years (preferred)
