**Business Need / Purpose of Role**

This position responsible for day-to-day receipting of funds, reconciliation of principal accounts, refunds, and monitoring of prefunding levels. All responsibilities carry out in a manner consistent with the strategic direction and financial context of Inchcape.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **OK to Sail**: Monitoring prefunding received as a percentage of the total estimate to release vessels for sailing once sufficient prefunding has been received. This will require frequent liaison with the ports to ensure additional funds are requested, as necessary. Monitoring of vessels sailed without prefunding and production and distribution of reports identifying vessels without funding.
- **Correspondence **with Ports and Principals: Effectively answer any queries from either principals or ports.
- **Refunds**: After checking that the refund is due, including review of open voyages, arranging payment to principals on their request and processing the accounting entry in accounting system.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- 3 years’ experience in large transactional business and accounts payable
- Good communication skills and a good command of the local language and English (oral and written).
- Attention to Detail and Problem Solving
