REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum SPM / Diploma or certification in culinary arts will be advantageous
- Preferably with commercial kitchen experience.
- Hands on experience with various kitchen equipment (especially knives)
- Team player
- Good working attitude, discipline, punctual and in a good health
- 5 days working
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning the kitchen station all the time.
- Making sure the kitchen equipment are well cleaned after use.
- Checking the inventory levels and reporting to Head of Department
- Maintaining proper sanitation of the kitchen.
- Following all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Plating of ready-to-eat food
- Assist in food preparations, cooking, plating and general duties in the kitchen
- Assist in cleaning utensils and equipment.
- Stock food items neatly in shelves and fridges.
- Ensure that the received products meet the predetermined quality and purchasing specifications.
- Perform duties in other areas of kitchen as assigned.
- Ensure that all operating equipment are in good working conditions and advise supervisor to raise repair and maintenance request when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
