**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing and implementing organizational health, safety, 5S, and environment management system, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee, monitor, and provide guidance to environment-competent personnel, wastewater, schedule waste, air pollution, and any other environmental aspects required by relevant laws added from time to time.
- Work closely with the local statutory bodies (DOSH, DOE, NIOSH, BOMBA, etc) to ensure compliance and update OSH-related issues.
- Perform periodic SHE compliances review, HIRARC assessments, and other safety assessments.
- Prepare applicable SHE reports as necessary and well-maintain SHE logs and documentation.
- To develop materials and perform SHE talks, induction, awareness and relevant training for the staff.
- Perform regular workplace inspections, immediate corrective actions on obvious hazards, identify potential hazards, and report to the Management.
- Provide assistance and advice on SHE issues to make improvement recommendations to factory and office operations.
- Lead in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
- Ensure proper PPE is being used at the factory as required.
- Preventive caution and ensure equipment & machinery are in safe operating condition by random inspections, feedback inspections finding to factory operations or maintenance for necessary actions.
- Authorized to terminate the factory operations activities with consults from the Factory Manager, if found unsafe acts and/or conditions.
- Conduct and coordinate safety meetings and inspections with safety committee members.
- Plan, coordinate and be responsible for emergency response procedures.
- Responsible for collating and compiling monthly safety statistics for submission to the Management, including monthly incident/accident statistics.
- Handling statutory audits and responses as required.
- In charge of factory security matters including establishing relevant policies and procedures, liaising with security vendors, and guiding guards on their day-to-day tasks.
- In charge of security surveillance in the office and factory and liaison with the vendors on the service and maintenance.
- Adhered to Company Rules & Regulations at all times.
- Any other tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Possess Safety Officer Certification (Green Book Holder) by DOSH.
- With over 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Well-versed in local SHE laws and regulations i.e. OSHA, Factory and Machineries Act, Environmental Quality Act, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English and Bahasa, with the ability to deliver presentations and explanations on Safety, Health, and Environment topics.
- With leadership quality, pro-active, persistent, and well organized.
- High commitment in ensure a safe work environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
