**Responsibilities**:
1) To advise the management or any person in charge of workplace on the measures to be taken in the interests of the safety and health of the person in the workplace

2) To inspect the workplace to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliances or process or any description of manual labor used in the workplace is such nature liable to cause bodily injury to any person in the workplace

3) To investigate any accident, near-missed accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which has happened in the workplace.

4) To assist the safety and health committee in organizing and implementing occupational safety and health programme at the workplace

5) To become secretary to the safety and health committee and perform all functions of a secretary as specified in the Regulations.

6) To assist the safety and health committee in any inspection of the workplace for the purpose of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with the Act or any regulations made under the Act.

7) To collect, analyse and maintain statistic on any accident, dangerous occurrence occupational poisoning and occupational disease which have occurred at the workplace

8) To carry out any other instruction made by the management or any other person in charge if the place of work on any matters pertaining to safety and health of the workplace

9) Take pro-active measures to identify hazards, assess the risk and then implement suitable control measures to eliminate all dangers.

10) Review all HIRARC and Job Hazard Analysis before its execution.

11) To comply and review with all legislatives matters and to update latest legal and other compliance accordingly.

12) Provide support and advice to management implementation and auditing on the safety, health, security and environment matters.

13) To monitor the workplace comply with the safety work standard, safety procedures, and authorities requirements.

14) Ensure first aid facility and welfare facilities for workers are in good condition.

15) To promote a high level Safety Management System awareness.

16) To ensure subcontractors or contractors comply to the requirements of the Safety Management System which outlined their responsibilities and commitments.

17) To submit a Monthly Safety Report and Safety Statistic record for DOSH;
- Compile and submit NADOOPOD, JKKP 8, Monthly Safety & Health Report to relevant parties involved (Internal/External).

18) To attend audit from authorities i.e DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, MBSA and etc.

19) Assist management for ISO Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) implementations for the company.

20) Any assignment as deemed fit and necessary by the Management.

**Job Requirements:

- **
- Valid Green Book holder registered with the Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH)
- Minimum two
- three (2-3) years experience
- Familiar with standard concepts and best practices for manufacturing
- Good writing and verbal communication skills both in Bahasa and English.
- Have knowledge on:

- OSH Legislations,
- Occupational Risk Assessment,
- Preparation of Safe Operating Procedure,
- Monitoring the effectiveness of control measures,
- Encouraging worker’s participation,
