Responsibilities -Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging lectures on various ENT topics, covering conditions, treatments, surgical techniques, and advancements in the field. Actively participate in the development and review of the ENT curriculum, ensuring alignment with current medical standards and best practices. -Clinical Training and Supervision: Oversee and provide hands-on clinical training to medical students and residents in ENT clinics, hospitals, and surgical settings. Mentor and supervise students during their clinical rotations and residency programs. -Research and Scholarship: Engage in research activities, including clinical studies, case reports, and scholarly publications, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the ENT field. Present research findings at conferences and seminars to share insights with the academic community. -Student Mentorship: Provide academic and career guidance to medical students interested in pursuing ENT as a specialty. Support students in their research projects and guide them in developing their medical knowledge and skills. -Professional Development: Pursue continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest developments in ENT and related medical disciplines. Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching and clinical expertise. -Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with other medical departments and healthcare professionals to foster a holistic approach to patient care and enhance interdisciplinary research initiatives. -Academic Administration: Participate in departmental meetings and academic administrative tasks, contributing to the overall growth and development of the medical school or institution. -Patient Care: Provide specialized ENT services to patients, ensuring the highest standard of care and adhering to ethical and professional guidelines. Qualifications and Requirements: -A medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT). -Board certification or eligibility for board certification in ENT is typically required. -Proven experience as a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in ENT or related medical disciplines, with a strong track record in teaching, research, and clinical expertise. -Demonstrated excellence in delivering lectures and providing clinical training to medical students and residents. -A strong commitment to research and scholarship, with a track record of publications in reputable medical journals. -Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with colleagues and medical professionals. -Experience in supervising and mentoring medical students and residents during their clinical rotations and training. -A dedication to patient-centered care and a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals.
