**Responsibilities**
- Take a leadership role in developing the school’s strategic and operational planning so as to achieve strategic direction and goals.
- Provide strong and committed leadership in teaching and curriculum development.
- Play a significant role in research projects including providing leadership to research teams. Encouraged to pursue own areas of research and develop these in order to contribute to the wider research activities of the department.
- Involved in academic management work. This includes coordination work, eg module, semester, etc. Take on a pastoral role to mentor and guide students.
- Organise academic meetings eg. seminar, workshop and conference. Conduct faculty development activities.
- Involved in marketing activities for centre and academic programmes.

**Requirements**:

- A Ph.D. in Health Professions Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Extensive experience as a tenured Professor or similar academic position, demonstrating a strong record of teaching, research, and publications.
- Expertise in specific areas of HPE, with a comprehensive understanding of current theories, methodologies, and empirical research in the field.
- Proven ability to mentor and supervise graduate students and junior faculty, nurturing their academic and professional growth.
- A distinguished research portfolio with a track record of publications in high-impact journals and active involvement in academic conferences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage students, colleagues, and the broader academic community.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative academic environment.
- Experience in securing research grants and external funding is highly desirable.
