Agridence is a Singapore based tech company that builds solutions for sustainable procurement of agri-commodities. It serves the agri-commodities market with an exclusive platform for farmers, producers, consumers as well as facilitators such as financial institutions, logistics and warehousing suppliers. Through Agridence, agi-commodities producers and consumers can track pricing, have access to market information and transact directly on the platform. Other offerings provided include value-added services such as financing, insurance and logistics.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead a part of the team with 3-6 members towards their goals and objectives, ensuring timely releases and prompt resolutions of blockers.
- Implement strategies in agile frameworks to ensure sprint tasks are completed on time.
- Deliver production quality code based using Java. Knowledge of Micronaut, Quarkus or Spring Boot framework is a must.
- Must have current working knowledge of Java >=5 years and React.
- Understands concepts in programming patterns, code optimization and best practices.
- Has a good understanding of unit testing in Java and React.
- Understands integrations with internal and external APIs.
- Must have lead a team before.
- Must have worked on and understand concepts of micro-services and cloud providers, preferably GCP.
- Understand concepts in GRPC, GraphQL and certain stream processing tools such as Flink, Kinesis.
- Manage a team of external developers and grow the team as required.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
- At last 5 - 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proven work experience as Backend Developer using Java >=3 years is a must.
- Good English communication skills and ability to collaborate across different teams across geographies.
- Manage individual as well as team project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, technical environment with high adaptability and flexibility.

**Salary**: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
