Area Manager

Area Sales Managers are accountable for achieving sales objectives within their assigned area as well as their team’s sales productivity by leading, directing and motivating the sales team. All efforts must be directed to achieving company objectives and sales targets. They are responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of stores and personnel within their district or assigned area.
**SALES**
- Achieve monthly, 6 monthly and annual sales targets.
- Ensures sales performance is optimised by setting appropriate targets.
- Continuously monitor sales, in-store and remotely.
- Your Personal, Store and Team member daily and weekly KIP are achieved or exceeded.
**OPERATIONAL DUTIES**
- Ensure that administrative systems, procedures, and protocols are fully adhered to.
- Confirm that all employees have arrived at the store punctually.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings.
**STRATEGIC**
- Monitor, analyse and take accountability for sales performance.
- Review daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, propose & implement solutions to boost sales.
- Upwards communication including trends, opportunities, customer feedback, product feedback and recommendations for improvements and efficiency.
- Ensure efforts are balanced and equal across all brands in Area Manager portfolio.
- Implement the Company’s Blueprint and strategy.
- Resolve staffing issues that may arise.
- Provide technical support to the sales team.
- Ensure a high level of customer service - handling & resolving customer issues.
- Create and communicate the daily and weekly roster (Set by the management).
- Build a positive company image by creating staff and company event, recognition, retention program and Empowerment.
- Ensure consistent implementation of merchandising standards across all stores in the area.
**PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT**
- Act as a mentor providing necessary support, guidance, training, and motivation to the Sales Team allowing them to achieve their targets.
- Develop a strong sales culture & create mechanisms to ensure seamless communication.
- Develop sales targets for each team member and design & implement an incentive structure that meets the needs of both the business and the employee.
- Identify personal development opportunities and coordinate training needs to improve performance.
- Supervise sales team members.
- Perform and conduct regular field observations.
- Identify training needs.
- Handle personnel issues and problems.
- Lead by example.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
