**Company Overview**
The organisation is specialized in manufacturing high precision metal stamping parts for electrical and electronics industries. It is equipped with the latest high technology machines. In order to produce high quality products, all the staffs are trained to be highly skilful and competent.
**Responsibilities**:
- Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logístical expenses
- Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews and analysis to assess their quality
- Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfil all customer requests
- Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services
- Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with meticulous record-keeping
- Ability to accurately process and maintain detailed records and documents
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work effectively
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in negotiating favorable terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers
- Experience with procurement software and systems to manage purchase orders, track inventory, and generate reports
- Skilled in identifying and resolving issues related to purchasing, such as delivery delays or quality concerns
**Requirements**:
- At least 1 year’s proven experience as a Purchasing Clerk or in a similar procurement role
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and budget management
- Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Knowledge if inventory management principles and practices
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Willing to work in Telok Gong, Port Klang
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm; Saturday 8.00am to 1.00pm
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
