Account Assistant/clerk

**Job Responsibilities**:
- Gather financial data and ledgers
- Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results
- Ensure periodical financial reporting to management
- Oversee expenditure and identify trends in spending
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Assist and monitor external and internal audits
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Conduct cost/benefit and other types of analyses
- Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures
**Job Requirements**:
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
- Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, any accounting software
- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
- Able to handle full set of multiple accounts
- Proactive and independent with little supervision
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: RM1,600.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
