**Job description for Team Lead**
- We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Team Lead to join our team in Sabah.
- Reporting to our headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a key role in providing exceptional accounting and financial support to our clients.

- Exposure to clients from multinational to SMEs in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Australia and other countries.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned clients, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities to resolve any issues or inquiries.
- Provide payroll processing and administration services, including the calculation of salaries; statutory declarations, and employee claims.
- Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role or within a professional services firm
- Experience in Leading and manage team members, providing them with training and development opportunities as necessary.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Malaysian citizenship or valid work authorization in Malaysia
- Ability to speak Mandarin is an additional advantage
