Job Descriptions
- Be responsible for supplier relation management, implementing supplier business reviews and other means of driving supplier performance in sustainable and systematic ways.
- To manage long term relationships with strategic suppliers in which to minimize cost through adequate supplier management methodology.
- Strategic sourcing and negotiation to generate sustainable savings and to get materials for the best price and quality.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to receive best deals in price, quality and services to support smooth production in long run.
- Communicate with various departments for efficient inventory control system for material and to build relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications while attending to company procurement needs.
- To forecast & ensure procurement plan of raw material meeting demand of products accordance with market situation.
- To monitor the tender process & establish strategic plan for tender negotiation to seek cost savings and make strategic recommendation to Management.
- To strategize sourcing activity through seeking company profile, pre-evaluation & negotiation to seek competitive cost for products/ material.
- To control cost/expenses and build a culture of long-term saving on purchasing cost.
- Prepare and implement alternative procurement sources to balance the dimensions of productivity, quality and availability.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Economics/ Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing procurement activities in similar environment.
- Experience in Plantation (Palm Oil) industry is an added advantage.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, and people skills.
- Independent and able to work with minimum supervision and tight deadline.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in both verbal and written skills.

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
