**SUMMARY OF JOB SCOPE**

Assist in handling the administrative and the operational duties of the Housekeeping Department.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To maintain a good working relationship with all other departments.
- To achieve close communication within the department.
- To implement ongoing training program.
- To establish a Preventive Maintenance Program with engineering.
- To do regular inspections of the responsible areas.
- To undertake any other assignment that may be given by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Ensures all inter departmental matters runs smoothly.
- Ensures the availability of a highly motivated staff force.
- Ensures development of good working habits and maximize productivity.
- Ensures the up keeping of the equipment and the hotel building.
- Training of the housekeeping personnel.
- Ability to interview and hire personnel.
- Knowledge on training and development of personnel.
- Capable of planning and controlling of housekeeping operations.

**COMMUNICATION**:

- Reports to : Executive Housekeeper
- Supervises : All the housekeeping personnel
- Works with : All departments
- External contacts : Contractors, Guests

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,100.00 per month
