Group Financial Controller

**Are you ready? These are the job scope**
- You will meticulously oversee the closing process, guaranteeing flawless intercompany transactions and the timely delivery of accurate financial statements for both investors and regulatory bodies, meeting strict Bursa reporting deadlines for the group/subsidiaries financial statements and adhering to stringent quarterly reporting requirements
- In collaboration with key stakeholders, you will spearhead the implementation with solid financial team and ongoing effectiveness of robust internal control frameworks (COSO), while also driving enhancements to SAP processes for intercompany transactions and fixed asset management.
- You will establish strong and collaborative relationships with hotel operations, treasury, and other teams to optimize intercompany processes and ensure seamless financial management across the brand.
- You will actively participate in ad-hoc assignments and process improvement initiatives.

**We Need Your Experience**
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience in leading and overseeing the financial closing process for a publicly traded company, ensuring adherence to quarterly reporting deadlines and Bursa Malaysia listing requirements.

**Technical Skills and Knowledge**
- In-depth understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Strong grasp of Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and regulations, particularly those pertaining to quarterly reporting.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with accounting software systems, such as SAP.
