Business Development Executive

**The company**
Our client is an international logistics and freight forwarding company that offer transportation solutions globally. The company provides a wide range of customized solutions of logistics services and supply chain solutions such as Transportation, Warehousing and Custom Clearance.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Business Development Executive will be responsible for gaining new clients and expanding existing client business according with the company growth strategy and the country sales budget.
**The role**
- Win, retain and develop customers through sales activity by actively setting appointments face-to-face sales meetings with customers and follow the schedule arranged by inside sales.
- Evaluate the prospective account as profitable, significant, or strategic to secure winning bids.
- Collaborating with all the company’s resources to support customer retention and to build a rapport and trust with customers by informing about customer’s business and the market.
- Responsible for increasing gross profit and market share and develop ongoing relationship with new customers.
- Thorough follow-up offers and client development.
- Monitor shipment cuts (lost clients) and implement counter measures.
- Ongoing key customer analysis.
- Implement strategic sales according to company grows plan.
- Develop and execute strategies and tactics to meet and exceed the given targets.
- Ensure all sales activity (Meetings, Contact Reports, Opportunities and Leads) are reported within the CRM System “Sugar CRM” (according to SUGAR SOP)
- Recommend solutions based on customer needs by using industry knowledge.
- Manage opportunities and risks securing the interests of the company.
- Participate in all sales trainings provided and schedules by the company.
**The requirement**
- Minimum 1-3 years field sales in freight forwarding or 2 years of operational experience.
- Good working knowledge of freight forwarding services including ocean and air freight (Import and Export), consolidation.
- Exhibited competence in conflict management, decision making and strategic planning.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and entrepreneurial skills
- Willing to travel and fluent in English both written and spoken.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

- Monday to Friday
