Procurement Junior Executive

**Job responsibilities & duties**:
- Review and Place Purchase Orders, verify the product information, shipping information, cost and delivery dates are all correct before obtaining authorisation to place an order.
- Negotiate price.
- Creating and maintaining purchasing (vendor) files, purchasing master list and price lists.
- Record vendor invoices into system database
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Monitor the lead time for each order and update the delivery report status for PO/PR.
- Evaluate the supplier performance based on support, delivery & item quality.
- Improve the supply chain by find new potential supplier.
- Consolidate multiple orders into a shipment and inform the logistic to arrange shipment/collection to minimise the shipping cost.
- Enter order details into system database.
- Prepare accurate report to management.
- Preserve and prepare document for audit.
- Handling any other company (owned by ISEP (M) Sdn. Bhd.) for activities related to procurement.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Support other department /Other ad-hoc duties if required.
**Job Requirements**:
- Diploma / Degree in Operation Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Technology Management, or equivalent education
- 0-2 years related working experience in purchasing / buyer in the Manufacturing environment (oil and gas industry is an added advantage).
- Knowledge in Purchasing / Inventory / Material (Electronics & Mechanical) and Warehouse Management is an added advantage.
- Able to read & write in Bahasa and English
- Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, and independent worker
- Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers
- Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude
- Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Words, Excel, Access) and SQL system is an added advantage.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
