Job Title: Soldering and Rework Technician

Department: Engineering

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Soldering and Rework Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of soldering and rework tasks on electronic assemblies, including surface mount (SMT), through-hole (PTH), and chip component rework. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing defective assemblies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform soldering and rework tasks on electronic assemblies, including SMT, PTH, and chip component rework
- Troubleshoot and repair defective assemblies
- Identify and correct soldering defects
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Document rework procedures and maintain records
- Train new technicians on soldering and rework techniques

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in soldering and rework of electronic assemblies
- Experience with SMT, PTH, and chip component rework
- Strong soldering skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies
- Ability to read and understand schematics and other technical documents
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
