**Basic Job Functions:
- Is responsible at a plant level for managing crew TOC specialists in meeting shift TOC metrics and driving timely gap closure and improvement plans.
- Optimizes operation prioritization to meet daily P90 goals as well as coordinate’s flawless introduction of new products or manufacturing process improvement projects.
- Acts as manufacturing operation Person-In-Charge for integration with respective plant stakeholder management for operation resources prioritization.
- Is responsible for providing factory capacity modeling and industrial engineering (IE) analysis on equipment, process, and labor in supporting the right production planning, scheduling, and execution in manufacturing plant.
- Maintains timely capacity/metric model & its parameter changes by working closely with relevant manufacturing and engineering parties.
- Regularly conducts time study to validate the accuracy of capacity/metric and labor productivity model.
- Develops new capacity/metric model for new product/technology introduction operation.
- Supports ad-hoc what-if capacity analysis for sudden supply/demand changes and the impact towards plant delivery.
- Provides industrial engineering analysis for continuous improvement in equipment utilization and space optimization for overall plant. Recommends methods for improving labor efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.

**Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations is preferred.
- Participates in cross functional teams in project deliverables planning and execution management.
- First Solar or any related factory Shift Manager experience is preferred.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision from Senior Manager.

**Required Skills/Competencies**:

- Effective Meeting and communication skills that foster teamwork and is result driven.
- Problem Solving Skill (7 Steps Problem Solving /6 Sigma/ Lean Manufacturing) is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Words and Outlook).
- Proficient in data mining/report such as System Applications and Product (SAP), Report Manager, Pro Clarity and JMP.
- Understands production control system, Equipment run-rate, Theory of Constraints, WIP policy and floor layout interaction. Knows buffer sizes for each area.
- Knows direct and indirect material list, consumption POR, replenishment, storage, and tracking system.
- Business Planning process flow from customer order to fulfillment and P90 process is preferred.
- **Technical**:

- Factory Physics, Operations Research, Technical Gap Analysis and Risk Assessment, FMEA methodology
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify issues, design and implement enhancement opportunities, and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously are essential.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with AutoCAD, IE simulation software, JMP, and SQL will have added advantage.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
- Capable of taking strategy and converting it into actionable deliverables to meet plant daily, weekly, and monthly P90 plan.
- Leads the plant daily cross functional Throughput Operation Meeting to review previous day performance and to meet current day P90 goals. Responsible for effective communication, foster teamwork and diversity. Leads daily Site Operation Coordination Meeting (on need basis).
- Actively communicates and build positive working relations with operation managers and cross functional section managers to achieve plant operation objectives.
- Recommends and mobilizes cross plant WIP or resources to eliminate or reduce constraints.
- Coordinates the module resort, FG transfer, and NCP management with operation stakeholders.
- Leads and drives plant operation action items closure with functional owners to remove constrains for 24/7 operations. Provides assessment for operation recovery and assignment of headcount, WIP and other resources to respective plant.
- Coordinates with functional section managers for proliferation of new change requests throughout the 24/7 operation with emphasis on standardized practices and to minimize capacity lost.
