Responsibility & Requirements
- Installing and maintaining Oracle database software.
- Installing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server database software.
- Installing and maintaining IBM DB2 database software.
- Installing and maintaining MySQL database software.
- Installing and maintaining GaussDB database software.
- Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.
- Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
- Setting up database user accounts.
- Training users on how to access the information in the database.
- Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity.
- Creating autonomous database backups.
- Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB
- Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required
- Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB
- Ensure SLA's & operational KPI’s are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur
- To perform database and host operating system security patching and configuration as required.
- Regularly updating the database security protocols.

Key Qualifications
- 4-5 years of working experiences as DBA
- Degree or master holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
- Experience should include DB design (modelling and normalisation), capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, managing schemas, report generation and DB clustering technologies.
- Able to operate Oracle, MS Sql Server, IBM DB2 and Mysql management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump, SSMS, IBM DSC, etc ).

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
