Job Responsibilities:

- Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors on a global scale. Analyses supplier capabilities, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines to recommend the optimal purchasing decision.
- Negotiations: Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and supply volume.
- Sample Request Coordination: Manage the coordination and tracking of sample requests for evaluation and testing. Liaise with suppliers, internal departments, and testing facilities to ensure the timely delivery and assessment of samples.
- Market Trends Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and geopolitical factors that could impact sourcing strategies. Provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, quality assurance, production, and finance to ensure smooth procurement processes and alignment of objectives.
- Cost Savings Initiatives: Identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcing, trade lane optimization, and supplier consolidation. Implement initiatives to achieve cost efficiency.
- Data Management and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely input of records into databases and spreadsheets, maintain proper documentation, and generate reports and analytics for tracking sourcing effectiveness and informed decision-making.
- Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other duties or tasks as assigned from time to time.
