If you are looking to grow in an exciting career filled with opportunities and potential, we are seeking a professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Reinsurance Accounting (GEGM).

**Job Purpose**
- Timely closing of accounts to meet all reporting deadlines.
- To comply with all required procedures on reinsurance account.
- Prompt and efficient reconciliation on account balances.
- Working closely with distribution, processing, finance and external parties in the process of RI premium settlement and debt collection, preparation of reinsurance related reports.

**The Job**
- Ensure timely to prepared on month end closing (RI related accounts), submission of reports to management, regional office and regulators.
- To prepare and performing reconciliation for RI related account.
- Monitoring of outstanding premium and claims recovery (RI related accounts).
- To perform manual matching, Issue journal adjustment, payment and receipts.
- Any ad hoc and new tasks as assigned.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

**Our Requirements**
- Possess at least a degree in accounting or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA).
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting in General Insurance industry.
- Possess good inter-personal, communication, leadership and management skills.
- Good knowledge in Reinsurance Accounting and operational systems.
- Strong organization and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
- In depth knowledge of Reinsurance and MFRSs will be on added advantage.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently.
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
