Quantity Surveyor

1. Responsible:

- for searching for tender advertisement from Internet, Newspaper and other related agency.
- for pay and collect Tender Document and study documents.
- for request for quotation for material, labour and machinery from supplier or sub-contractor.
- Preparing pricing in Bill of Quantities (BQ).
- Compile tender and other supporting document.
- Tender submission.
- Assists Contract Manager in the Tender process

2. Prepares all relevant document for progress claim with supporting documents.

3. Submit Progress Claim to Consultant and Client.

4. Keeps track on each of the progress claim submitted

5. To attend site meetings, inspection and discussion and to highlight problems or discrepancies.

6. To attend site inspections and checking on works and to fill the inspection form.

8. To assists Contract Manager to carry out final inspection and hand-over documentation, including ensuring that all as-built drawings are prepared for submission to the relevant authorities, where required upon completion of the project.

9. To assists in cost estimation, quantity take-off and tendering exercises.

10. Monitor all commercial information in relation to project including labour, material and sub-contractor cost forecasting thus ensuring budgets adhered to.

11. To assists Contract Manager to prepare or check sub-contractor claim

12. Attend site valuation and prepare progress report.

13. Prepared method of statement.

14. To prepare variation orders and cost impact estimates.

15. Assisting in cost estimation, quantity take-off and tendering exercises.

16. Preparing and analyzing cost comparison.

17. Arrange for quotation or proposal (if necessary)

18. Liaise with Supplier for delivery of goods or services

19. Liaise with Supplier for delivery goods or services to site.

20. Carry out Supplier performance for active Supplier.

21. To assist Project Manager for preparing Master Program and Construction Material or Product Sample, Catalogue and Brochure (whichever relevant) and submit to Client, SO or Consultant for approval.

22. Liaise with Supplier for delivery of goods or services.

23. Carry out Supplier performance once a year for active supplier

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Quantity Surveyor: 5 years (preferred)
