Job Overview:
The Manager
- ICT Network and Infrastructure, is a position that focuses on operating, managing and maintaining Minda Global Group’s overall IT network and infrastructure services.

Responsibities:
The ICT Infrastructure includes the technology and hardware system below;
- Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Files Server management
- Microsoft Online Services (M365, Office365, Exchange365, etc.)
- Servers, Storage, Database (MSSQL, MySQL, Application servers including Uniec Campus and Uniec Virtual, etc.) and Backup & DR management
- Virtualization Infrastructure (VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V)
- Datacenter (On-premises and Cloud - Azure, AWS, etc.) management
- Network Infrastructure (ISP/Telco, Routers, Switches, Load Balancer, Wi-Fi APs, WLAN Controller, etc.)
- IT Security services (Firewall, Azure WAF, Microsoft 365 Defender)
- Print Services management
- IP Telephony Services management

IT Infrastructure Operation Management
- Responsible for ensuring network and infrastructure services are used, managed, and supported in accordance with ICT standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the availability of uninterrupted network and infrastructure services and operations of the installed base of information technology systems (all components: hardware, software, UPS, and network).
- Design, simulate, implement, and monitor network and infrastructure services disaster recovery procedures along with managing day-to-day operations, administration, and support planning.
- Take a lead role in all projects related to new deployment, upgrades and maintenance of network and infrastructure services across the campus, including liaising with stakeholders and external vendor.
- Maintain strict controls on data/system backups and recoverability. Ensure that all systems are backed up and aligned with the ICT backup/restore policy and procedure.
- Plan and test the disaster recovery procedure.
- Take a lead role in resolving issue related to network and infrastructure services.
- Provide technical advice and work with vendor to perform complex technical troubleshooting for network and infrastructure services.
- Maintain access to datacentre and ensure all access is recorded.
- Improve knowledge management capabilities in the organization by providing training, mentoring, and coaching to personnel to increase their competence and skills.

Record Management
- Track and record the network and infrastructure assets
- Ensure disaster recovery documents are kept up to date.
- Develop and ensure the policy, standard and procedure are kept up to date.
- Develop and ensure the monitoring reports are kept up to date.

Change Governance
- Vendor management; include vendor performance evaluation.
- Support contracts and licensing management.
- Ensure that all work and changes are performed with mínimal disruption to existing business use.

Budget Management
- Review selection of vendors and cost comparisons during maintenance agreement renewal.
- Ensure renewal is done on time to avoid interruption that may cause financial loss.
- Prepare and review CapEx and OpEx budget for IT Infrastructure.
- Review of quotation, billing, and invoice.

Others
- The incumbent reports directly to Director of the Information and Communication Technology Services (ICT) unit.
- The incumbent develops, manage, maintain network and infrastructure projects to be aligned with the Unit's Service Level Statement (SLS) and Annual Development Plan (ADP).

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
