Speech & Language Pathologists

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct evaluations and establish individualized therapy plans with short and long term goals according to the standard procedures.
- Perform the therapy plan professionally and prepare progress report for each client from time to time.
- Preserves and protects client’s confidentiality in all situations and with all documentation.
- Attends and participates in continuing education programs to monitor proficiency, expand current knowledge and enhance professional excellence. Willingly shares knowledge and provides clinical orientation to other members of the staff.
- Manage student behavior through monitoring, supervising and assessing behavioral patterns
- Maintains safe and clean working environment at all time.
- Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
- Ensure that verbal and written communications including tone, demeanour and content with children and parents are always professional, appropriate and respectful.
- Demonstrates professionalism as a healthcare professional by being punctual and dependable for assigned/confirmed work task.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Speech therapy.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of therapy practices and programs.
- Must have clinical experiences with paediatric case.
- Ability to assess patient condition and develop individualized therapy plan.
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
- Minimum of 1 year working experience
- Malaysian.
