A) Qualification
- Good leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Registration as a Competent Person (CePEITSO) in PCP WTP.
- Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience preferably in a waste water treatment plant manufacturing environment.
B) Education
- Master/Degree in Safety & Health / Science/ Engineering
C) Skills
- Computer literate to handle Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point
- Strong understanding of OSHA legal and regulations.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Able to work with all levels within the organization
- Consistent in record taking, updating the record keeping
- High motivated and able to work independently.
- Good in highlight and quick reporting of any issues in regards to SHE.
- Able to work with a team and also work independently with mínimal supervision.
D) Experience
- Familiar with compliances according to laws and regulations of government authorities such as DOE, DOSH, BOMBA, KKM and other related local authority.
- Must be able to perform monitoring operations at sites in accordance with Government Agencies’ rules and regulations.
- Able to write procedures of operations for the relevant rules and regulation, provide training and monitor to ensure system of compliances are practised.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
**Responsibilities**:
To assist management to develop and oversea controls system of waste water treatment plant operations.
- **A. Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)**_
- To prepare SHE related Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI).
- To conduct SHE Awareness Campaigns and other activities as per plan by superior.
- To assist superior during liaise with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA or other local authority site visit and inspection.
- To ensure all documentation is keep intact and compliant to laws and regulations.
- To prepare HIRARC and ensure it is updated and reviewed yearly together with superior and department’s representative.
- To conduct induction training to the new joint employees.
- To conduct internal SHE training and briefing according to the yearly training plan.
- To conduct safety briefing to the contractors and ensure the PTW is issued by department’s PIC.
- To ensure fire fighting equipment's and first aid box in the hostel are in place and well maintained.
- To ensure chemical Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and chemical register are updated and keep in records.
- To conduct weekly Workplace Inspection (WPI) as scheduled.
- To perform OSH related job task as per instruct by superior from time to time.
- **B. Environmental**_
- To assist superior in preparing and analyse environmental report.
- To ensure scheduled waste are properly label and disposed at the designated scheduled waste storage.
- To coordinate and provide related environmental awareness briefing to the related
- staffs.
- To assist in documentation and implementation of ISO 14001:2015 in UGGR.
- To perform environmental related job task as per instruct by superior from time to time.
