Ipoh, Malaysia HTM Pharmacy Group Full time

This role is to manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. You are responsible for the following:
1) Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

2) Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

3) Coordinate and complete annual audits.

4) Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

5) Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.

6) Meet financial accounting objectives.

7) Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

8) Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

- month and end-year process
- accounts payable/receivable
- general ledger
- treasury, budgeting
- cash forecasting
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- capital assets reconciliations
- account statement reconciliations
- fixed asset activity
- debt activity

**Requirements**:
1) Must be a MIA member.

2) Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.

3) Proven knowledge and experienced in Taxation and Auditing.

4) Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Accounting Software and Databases.

5) Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.

6) High attention to detail and accuracy.

7) Ability to direct and supervise.

8) Degree in Accounting or Finance, and/or higher.

9) Excellent in English and Mandarin (to handle clients).

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
