Defect Verification: Review and verify defect submissions made by property owners to ensure accurate and complete information.
- Joint Defect Inspections: Participate in joint defect inspections with property owners, contractors, and other stakeholders to assess and document defects accurately.
- Customer Support: Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening to property owners' concerns, promptly addressing their needs, and offering appropriate solutions.
- Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with contractors and project teams to develop effective defect resolution plans and ensure timely completion.
- Construction Knowledge: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, materials, and building systems to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
- Quality Standards: Ensure defect submissions, resolutions, and customer service processes align with quality standards and project requirements.
- System Usage: Utilize relevant systems and tools proficiently to facilitate defect submission, tracking, and resolution efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in construction or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and defect management processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Proficient in using defect management systems or similar software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
