**POSITION**:Procurement Manager

**RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY**
- Source and adequate best supplier in terms of pricing, terms and condition offer and servicing for each type of products.
- Evaluate and provide rating for each type of supplier by completion the Evaluation and Selection of Supplier for Contract & Procurement Director for approval.
- Conduct and evaluate supplier performance (Delivery, Quantity, Services) upon completion of project.
- Updating and prepare the Pre-Qualified of Supplier List and submit to Contract & Procurement Director for approval.
- Review and approve the Material Requisition and submit to Director for review.
- Liaise with contract division during tendering process, preparation of site budget and confirming Site Budget Review arise (if any).
- Source, negotiate and select the best purchase in term of quantity, price, terms, deliveries and services with supplier and recommend to Contract & Procurement Director for approval.
- Conduct and coordinate site visit and prepare report to Contract & Procurement Director.
- Provide, monitor and update samples and catalogues submission to architect or consultant approval.
- To attend all material problems on site.
- Handling the claims to the factories and vendor for defective, shortage and missing parts.
- Conduct a monthly division meeting and report to Board of Directors.
- Report to Directors on the market trend and the conditions for the present and future price, availability and lead time and capacity of goods and services.
- Monitor and report the performance of the procurement team members to Board of Director.
- Guide procurement team members in performing their duties.
- Build and develop good relationship with suppliers/manufacturers.
- Monitor and control the filing system.
- To undertake other related jobs from time to time as directed by the Directors.

**ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION**
- Degree in Contract Management and Procurement or its equivalent.

**EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIRED**
- Minimum ten (10) years working experience in Procurement, in similar position or related working experience in construction industry for fast-track projects.
- Good interpersonal skill to communicate with other team members.
- Strong communication and negotiation, self-motivated, reliable, able to work under pressure, efficient, initiative, responsibilities, meticulous, independent and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English and Malay and Computer literate.
