**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor backend systems and servers to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and system backups.
2. Script Management:
- Rerun and troubleshoot scripts to resolve backend issues or perform routine tasks.
- Create and modify scripts as needed for automation and system management.
3. Remote Support:
- Use RDP and other remote tools to access and manage backend systems.
- Provide remote support for users and systems, resolving technical issues related to backend processes.
4. Incident Management:
- Respond to and resolve backend system incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on operations.
- Document incidents and solutions, contributing to the knowledge base.
- Database and Server Administration:
- Assist in the management and administration of databases and servers.
- Ensure data integrity and system security by following best practices.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other IT teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure backend systems meet business needs.
- Communicate effectively with users and team members to provide timely updates and solutions.
6. Documentation:
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for backend systems, scripts, and processes.
- Create user guides and technical documentation as needed.
**Qualifications**:
1. Educational Background:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), ITIL) are a plus.
2. Technical Skills:
- Experience with backend systems management, including databases, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) for remote system management.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows Server.
- Basic understanding of database administration and network management.
3. Experience:
- Previous experience in a backend IT support or system administration role.
- Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot backend processes and server environments.
4. Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
5. Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
