**Job Objective**

This role is part of the CGW APAC Risk and Control Team and is integral to establishing a robust investment and insurance sales surveillance governance framework that enables effective risk and control management by the Retail Bank franchise within CGW.

Lead business analyst is responsible to manage a team of business analysts to deliver all technology related scope including data analysis, manage data loading and enrichment process, discuss with the supporting countries to review rule / extraction logic to identify the required data elements to satisfy business requirements, work closely with technology teams to deliver digital solutions for business within the target timeline, perform User Acceptance Test (UAT), prepare reports / logs / documents etc. The role act as a bridge between someone who understand technology and Wealth Management sales and surveillance process. This role will require individual to understand the risk in Wealth business and engage with Technology to provide business requirement to mitigate those risks and oversee its implementation. Additionally, this role is responsible to be the integral part of new country / scope migration to Invictus KL Hub.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for business & data analysis to support the alert generation across countries migrated to Hub. This process will involve review and understand data elements, manage raw data source files, convert raw data source files to system input files (predefined system format) and generate workable alerts in the system for analyst to perform sales surveillance review.
- Manage the migration of new countries within the Hub from evaluating feasibility to migrate, engagement with country on regulatory approvals, understand the complex data set requirements, automate with technology, provide support during parallel run and complete the overall project within stipulated timelines.
- Responsible for generating MIS and Metrics on ageing and closed cases to respective countries on timely basis for ensuring appropriate governance and oversight.
- Responsible for generating automated inputs for key activities within the Hub covering performance management, productivity, reward and recognition eligibility, sampling for Quality Assurance and call monitoring.
- Engage with countries to analyze surveillance trends across Investment, Insurance and FX and present the results along with analysis in Regional Governance Forums.
- Work with the teams to identify themes on monthly basis for risk basis analysis and engage with case review team to perform deep dive analysis.
- Identify on continuous basis any gaps in automated On Demand surveillance reports through engagement with countries and Digital Monitoring Tool team to assess the efficacy of the reports.
- Act as one stop shop for consolidating all data and process related gaps on surveillance for engagement with countries, product teams, regional teams and technology and track them for closure with regard to policy changes or system changes as the case may be.
- Working on various Regional projects with regard to data validation to align the process and data generation of reports for countries that have not been migrated within the Hub.
- Responsible to manage multiple stakeholders to automate manual processes and provide digital solution. Need understanding the business process and data sources to provide business requirement to technology team and perform UAT and PAT.
- Responsible to identify data source issues if any and proactively work with business units and technology teams to ensure no impact to the business operations.
- Trend analysis and surveillance reports for management reporting.
- Continuously seek process improvement to enhance efficiency of the surveillance monitoring process, and to address process / compliance gaps.
- Work closely with In-Country Business to migrate Country Sales Surveillance Process to KLCSC Hub.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Ability to manage teams.

**Qualifications**:

- A person in this role has a passion to work with business and technology in automating manual processes and building digital solution for the business users. He/she is methodical, analytical, open minded and able to meet project timeline / SLA.
