This is an outline of your basic duties and job functions as a Sales Representative. This outline serves as a guide and is not meant to be exhaustive. Further the Manager will define responsibilities and precise degree of authority where applicable. 1. You shall be given Handheld (HH) & Printer Devices in which you have to maintain as per following: - 1.1 Handheld & printer to be kept in the designated pigeonhole. 1.2 Mandatory to charge these devices on daily basis. 1.3 Check battery level of both devices before heading out for sales. 1.4 Paper rolls to be obtained from branch office. 1.5 Empty plastic cores to be retained & handed over to branch. 1.6 Only “Stylus” is allowed to be used when scrolling the handheld screen. 1.7 Mandatory to keep handheld & printer at hotel room during outstation visit. 2. You are to be at loading area & submit stock request to Loading Head by 7.30am each day, for the following: - 2.1 Unload & arrange stocks on the pallets as per company’s requirement. 2.2 Ensure returned stocks are segregated & displayed separately. 2.3 Check & load the final quantity into respective vehicle before heading out for sales. 2.4 Ensure acknowledged copy of “Verification Report” is handed to respective Branch Manager/Executive. 3. Sales trip: - 3.1 You are to adhere and follow the routing in handheld and have to visit all customers as per schedule. 3.2 Mandatory to follow “7 Steps” when conducting sales transaction: - 3.2.1 Greet customer & scan barcode 3.2.2 Check stock & return 3.2.3 Take order 3.2.4 Deliver stock 3.2.5 Collection 3.2.6 Merchandising 3.2.7 Thank customer & log out handheld 3.3 Copy of Tax Invoice, Receipt & Goods Return Note to be retained for submission. 3.4 “Goods Return Note” must have customer’s rubber stamp. 3.5 Customer complaints & tele-orders are to be attended to within 24 hours. 3.6 When directed/required, you are to stay overnight when going out for sales. 4. Sales Collection (cash and/or cheque): - 4.1 Cash collection for the day must be deposited into company’s account not less than twice in a day. 4.2 Bank in slip to be retained & surrendered to Branch Executive along with other reports upon submission. 4.3 Discrepancies & shortages of stocks or cash are to be borne by salesman. 4.4 Using company’s money for personal use is deemed serious offence & chargeable under Criminal Breach of Trust (CBT). 4.5 Credit, cheque, 3rd party cheque facilities must be sanctioned by management 5. General: - 5.1 Ensure your personal grooming is presentable e.g. clean shaven, uniforms are ironed & use black shoes, ensure clipped and well-groomed fingernails, etc. 5.2 Any summons, incidents & accidents sustained on the vehicle assigned to you must be reported immediately to supervisor. 5.3 Strictly not allowed to ferry any other items or products other than our company’s products. 5.4 Consumption of banned substance i.e. liquors, drug etc. during working hours constitutes a serious offense. 6. Any other tasks as instructed by your supervisor from time to time.
