We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of **Contract Executive - Client Management (6 months)**
**Principal Accountabilities**
- Support account managers in engaging existing clients and identify new business opportunities
- Coordinate with different HSBC departments to seek and offer solutions to clients
- Assist account managers to update and review client profitability and trends
- Maintain close contact with clients and build stronger client relationships
- Assist account managers in preparation of service reviews in conjunction with service delivery teams to ensure/improve service delivery quality
- Keep abreast of market developments, industry best practices
- Ensure that business implementation and/or operations team provide the support to implement all new business
- Ensure that appropriate KYC is conducted by the Bank’s KYC team
- Assist accounts managers in preparation of New Business Approval Submissions
- Assist accounts managers in preparation of business pitch materials
- Assist accounts managers to update and review client profitability and trends
- Work closely with all teams on business implementation activities including to support on on-boarding new client, account opening, account setup etc.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 - 5 years in the securities services business, with full command of Malaysia custody, clearing, settlement. asset servicing and other related ‘back office’ services
- Strong client centric and management skills
- Well versed in the regulatory rules and requirements related to custody functions
- Ability to drive, and respond to, rapidly changing environment
