Purchasing Executive

Procurement of materials required by projects in a timely, cost-effective manner to meet both internal and external customer requirements.
- Identify and evaluate current and potential suppliers for new and ongoing projects, negotiate and develop strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost saving and quality.
- Lead negotiations for international contracts, including terms and conditions, pricing, delivery schedules and trade compliance.
- Maintain relationship with existing suppliers and identify opportunities for performance improvement, cost reduction and innovation.
- Prepare and evaluate price comparison for selection of the best quotation option. Review product specifications to ensure they meet client’s requirements.
- Works in collaboration with integrated departments such as sales and operation to ensure all quality, costs and supply goals are met.
- Monitor and analyze procurement costs, budgets, and expenses, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure cost efficiency.
- Issue Purchase Order and Purchase Requisition form in an accurate and timely manner.
- Monitor and follow-up with suppliers on order status, and expedite delivery when required.
- Handle all logistic activities in accordance to client orders.
- Prepare reports on international procurement performance, including cost analysis.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions to make informed procurement decisions.
- To ensure all records related to purchases and shipments are accurately maintained and recorded.
Qualification and Attributes
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Written and spoken language proficiency in Malay, English and Arabic
- Able to understand and communicate fluently in Arabic is an advantage
- Proven experience in international procurement and supply chain management, with a track record of managing international sourcing projects
- Proficiency in international trade regulations, custom procedures, and export/import compliance.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of global supply chain logistics and requirements.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex international procurement challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Self-motivated and possess positive working attitude.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management skills.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
