**JOB SUMMARY**:
To ensure the execution of the Air Selangor Communication Plan on content management via working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance visibility, strengthen and build corporate branding of the company’s goal as a brand name in the community.
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- To ensure the implementation of Corporate Communications strategies and plans to advance the Company’s Corporate image.
- Ensures effective internal and external communications and maintains good relationship with all stakeholders and provide assistance to other sections/ department from time to time.
- To handle media queries, replies, and facilitate news filming and photography requests.
- To assist in logistics for media interview, results briefing.
- Collaborate with media on various levels and initiate ideas to preserve and promote company objectives.
- To coordinate and facilitate media /analyst interviews with senior management.
- To monitor and maintain correct information and update all Air Selangor communication channel including social media (Facebook/ Twitter/ Instagram/LinkedIn) accordingly through regular checks and scheduled monitoring from time to time. This includes communication of Company’s policies, drafting of press releases, updating of company’s websites, and contributing to company’s internal publications.
- To prepare content for the CEO message, staff newsletters and magazine.
- To prepare a write up for communication collaterals such as corporate brochures, materials, and calendars.
- To monitor and ensure timely delivery of all communication initiatives and campaigns.
- To compile any related policies and regulations of Air Selangor so that the information can be shared on a common platform.
- To execute Sustainability Development Goals (“SDG”) initiatives to ensure that it is aligned to Air Selangor strategy as well as to work closely with the Air Selangor Editorial Teams in order to understand business needs, operational constraints in relation to people development and talent acquisition.
- To execute daily media monitoring and share with Air Selangor’s senior management.
- To ensure that the company policies and procedures are reviewed and communicated.
- Manage and ensure the executions of the Communication Plans are successful.
- Improve field surveys on the effectiveness of the communication strategy.
- Monitor executive’s job performance in achieving the company standard.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:
- Bachelors in mass communication/ Public Relation/ Customer Service/ Event Management or similar fields.
- Have at least Two (2) Years working experience (for bachelor’s degree holders) in Public Relation/ Corporate Communications/ Event Management/ Customer Service / Media Organisation.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal in Malay and English.
- Able to liaise with internal and external parties to coordinate events/programs and activities. The work requires considerable contact with third parties, the public and, increasingly, with the media.
- Excellent Report writing skills and strong computer skills especially Microsoft Office (Words, Excel & PowerPoint).
- The balance between field work and office-based work varies considerably, with more administration, statistical analysis and report writing associated with senior positions.
- Have good administrative and IT skills. There may be a large amount of administration, normally requiring IT skills. Individual officers are often responsible for their own clerical work.
