**The Role**:
**Position Purpose**:To lead operational & tactical contracting and procurement activities for capital projects in accordance to CMCP and be part of a new projects team delivering support for capital project from SBO Kuala Lumpur.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Manage Requisition to Pay process for the Projects including creating Purchase Orders
- Deliver operational CP support to projects
- Execute Group Contract Management process for assigned operational contracts
- Ensure Supply Chain Strategy supports Goal Zero Aspiration through implementation of robust
- Contractor Safety Management practices and alignment to Shell’s personal and process safety Goal
- Zero focus areas.
- Implementation of Contractor HSSE practices in close liaison with Contract Managers/Holders and Owners.
- Proactively identify & understand procurement needs from internal stakeholders and collaboratively propose competitive solutions.
- Manage Supplier Relationship effectively and collaboratively drive continuous performance improvement via relevant contract key metrics (Eg: HSSE, Operations, Cost). This would involve constructively challenging the Suppliers in terms of the contract delivery and performance as well.
- Ensure strong connect across the wider CP Organization to ensure sharing and leverage of best practices.
- Work closely with Global Category Team to get the best deals for the project (only relevant for certain spend categories).
- A self-starter, build effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders and make a constructive contribution within immediate team.
- Operational knowledge and experience in Sourcing, Requisition to Pay (RtP, Expediting, Service Entry), Accounts Payables with tools such as ARIBA, SAP, A/4HANA

**Dimensions**:

- Third Party Spend - Supporting end to end Contracting & Procurement activities for the lifecycle of capital projects in Asia Pacific.
- Key Stake Holder Interfaces _-_ Project Manager, Business Opportunity Manager (for Pre-DG3 phase) Contract Holders, Contract Owners, Global Category Team & Suppliers, CP colleagues in CP Operations [IGPCRES], CP Projects and Assets.

Realizing Value
- Delivery of sourcing opportunities & strategy, and RtP support to the project to ensure operational activities are ran efficiently and come up with (process) improvement ideas.
- Manage contract documentation to secure third party services and materials in compliance with business need, quality requirements and on best commercial terms that fully accounts for all market capacity/capability and risks/opportunities.
- Supporting the delivery of contracts awarded to enable value maximization for the organization.

Stakeholder Management
- Various interface management which includes internal (Business Stakeholders, Global Category Team, wider CP Team) & external (Suppliers, Contractors) that would require excellent collaboration and close cooperation.

**Key Experiences and Qualifications**:
Qualification & Delivery
- A degree level (Business/Engineering) or proven experience within CP.
- Min 7 years of working experience
- Proven track record of execution excellence & delivering results.
- MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Qualification would be preferred but not mandatory.
- Highly tuned commercial acumen and curiosity
- Proven experience in contract negotiations
- Highly driven, ‘can do’, inspiring, able to articulate in a crisp and precise manner
- Focused on tangible value outcomes for the enterprise
- Brings external market/supplier into the conversation (curiosity)
- Uncompromising on HSSE, ethics & compliance is a ‘must have’ in all CP
- Collaborates and integrates within CP and with business, enterprise first
- Understands business and speaks business language
- Has effective influencing skills and can flex his/her style to audience
