**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Oversee the planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and control of Commercial operations, including procurement, contract management, purchasing, inventory, and logistics support.
- Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy and initiatives to achieve business objectives.
- Coordinate and oversee the tendering processes, including preparing documentation, selecting specifications, conducting tender interviews and clarification, evaluating costs, and ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring optimal terms, pricing, and service levels, while monitoring performance, resolving issues promptly, and recommending amendments or renewals as needed.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of purchase orders for stock replenishment, including communication with vendors, suppliers, order placement, order tracking, quotations and delivery.
- Ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services that meet customer standards and quality expectations.
- Manage, implement efficient inventory control measures, including regular stock take and audits, to optimize stock levels and ensure accuracy.
- Manage the procurement process, including establishing methodologies, conducting risk assessments, and evaluating technical and commercial data.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments in procurement processes to identify and mitigate potential challenges, ensuring smooth and secure acquisition of goods and services.
- Drive continuous process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including users, vendors, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Promote continuous career development and skill/competency enhancement for Commercial team members.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all contractual agreements.
- Ensure and enforce full compliance of safety and health practices and procedures OSHA and other safety regulations.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum 5 years of experience on contract, purchasing and supply chain related field.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Able to draft, negotiate, and manage contracts to ensure compliance and optimal terms.
- Able to perform Cost-Benefits Analysis, Risk Management and policies development when required.
- Able to address challenges and find innovative solutions in procurement and commercial processes.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Kuching, Sarawak.
